Playn are a clothing manufacturer creating clothing for everyone using a minimalistic approach to design and utilising sustainable materials. Their name is derived from the old adage of ‘Plain’ being synonymous with negative connotations. The brand seems to ‘play’ on that theme and create a timeless and contemporary look and feel.
Following that path, the logo is elegant but without being overbearing. Supporting icons were created to use across varied collateral including packaging and labels.
For their launch, Playn also required an editorial to be produced including interviews with their Creative Director and a look into how they create their clothing along with promotional front of house banners.
